Now, down near the Santa Monica pier, for a while, they had this structure built out of “checkerboard” of (40-foot-long) shipping containers. Each of those isn’t quite //similar// (in the math sense, like similar triangles) to a scaled-up Jenga block, but let’s say you took Matthew’s structure and built something like that out of shipping containers. Would that be the tallest structure in the world, taller than a 100 story building? Would it be earthquake-safe? Could terrorists play a giant game of Jenga by taking turns crashing planes into it?
